Building a new family home in Coverack
Clair finally had a chance to put her new SUP on top of her car and head down to the beach. Very murky – at one stage late morning visibility in the fog had been down to under 50m but things improved a little as the afternoon wore on.

The past week has seen pretty wet weather (although not up to the biblical standards of August) but that isn’t really surprising at the end of October. A week of reasonable weather up to Friday 23 October has allowed some progress on the ply sarking and insulation of the roof structure. We also have the additional panel fitted in the Plant Room to correct the original error in manufacture.

The two days from the evening of 14 October until 16 October saw a dramatic change. An unclad roof can be a beautiful thing although internal studding can’t! Progress continues as these photos from 18 October show.
The garage roof (and, as it’s turned out the ‘bridge’ roof) have arrived as pre-assembled trusses.
