The garage roof (and, as it’s turned out the ‘bridge’ roof) have arrived as pre-assembled trusses. The roof structure over the main parts of the house however is assembled from common rafters individually attached to a wall plate and ridge beam. Not a difficult task – but there are lots of them!
We also need to adjust the spacing of a number of them to allow for the easy fitting of a couple of Velux roof-lights and to allow a straight run for the stove flue.
