The past week has seen pretty wet weather (although not up to the biblical standards of August) but that isn’t really surprising at the end of October. Despite that (or possibly becasue of that and a little ‘gentle’ encouragement) the roof sarking is, to all intents and purposes complete apart from the waterproofing of ridges and valleys.
Rain on Monday, Tuesday and (particularly) Wednesday and Thursday nights however has meant that the interior of the frame and the floor decking is a bit damp. It’s also got a thick layer of sawdust and insulation dust from all the cutting so Teresa felt it would be a good idea to sweep it out. If nothing else the picture below gives a pretty good impression of how spacious the vaulted space of the kitchen and living areas is.
